HOW WE MOVE
Kura Haka is our kapa haka education programme delivering te reo Māori and performing arts in schools across Whangārei, Te Hiku/Far North, and Tāmaki Makaurau.
Waiata Wānanga offers community groups, organisations, and businesses the chance to learn waiata — deepening understanding and forging genuine connection through waiata.
Kura Waiata focuses on kaitito (composers) where they share their Original compositions and together we develop a process for their mahi to thrive within the wider community, especially comp haka.
A Wananga nurturing and growing Kai Rakuraku and Kai Puoro within Tai Tokerau safe guarding an abundance of guitarists, and puoro musicians for Kura, Kapa and Kaupapa for our rohe.

As hosts for our whanau reunion, we felt it was important to have a waiata that embodied the messages we wanted to reconnect our whanau with each other and to korero about the history of our whanau. Te Aroha and Reo really showcased their music skills which aligned with the kupu we composed.
